A Safe Place to Grow
Since 1999 Victory Christian Center has desired to create "A Safe Place To Grow." Many individuals and families have come to make the vision of safety their own. Please read the thoughts below on this vision of "A Safe Place To Grow."
A Family Church

Nothing To Prove
"Since I came to Victory I found a group of people who has nothing to prove but their love for God and their love for the people within the church. It is the first time I've ever felt safe enough to let myself be weak. I had lost my faith in people and in the church. I'm learning that in order for God to break the cycle of struggles in our life I have to step up and admit that we don't have anything under control and that our family needs help. I know that our victory is on the way and that He will allow His calling on my life to come to fruition."

Impacted By The Vision
"There are so many ways that Victory has helped our family. To list them all out would take pages. But the most important thing I believe is that God has given us a safe place to worship, learn and grow. I know that Pastor Ed is there to help if I get off track. I know that not only would he not allow anyone to hurt me (or my family) but he would also not allow me to (inadvertently) hurt someone else. Both my husband and I have experienced some pretty painful things in churches in the past but I know that the Pastors and Elders of Victory would not allow those things to happen here. I can't express the deep amount of peace and safety I feel not only spiritually, but also physically. The ushers, seeing them walking around, checking things out. Then, of course, knowing the safety that is there allows us to worship and minister in great freedom."

Hospitality
"I absolutely love the way women are treated here at Victory. I've never felt so much like a lady. I still remember the first time I came to church without my husband. I had both my sons and it was raining. When we arrived an usher came running out to the van with an umbrella and helped me! Unbelievable! And opening doors, I love that we are instilling this into our young men/boys to open doors for a lady. It may be little to some, but I really appreciate it and it makes me feel like a lady!"
