Beginnings
Through the evangelistic efforts of Hear O Israel, a Messianic Jewish ministry, over 200,000 Jewish people have professed faith in Jesus (Yeshua) as Messiah since the mid-1990s.  This unprecedented harvest prompted several leading Jewish and non-Jewish ministries to form a coalition, and the Messianic Jewish Bible Institute (MJBI) was born.  With the goal of training these new believers, the MJBI began in Odessa, Ukraine, in 1996.  In time, additional schools started in the Jewish population centers of Budapest, Hungary, Moscow, Russia, Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and Buenos Aires, Argentina.  Congregations and works of compassion sprang from these schools.



Vision
The vision of the MJBI is to cooperate with the "Zeal of the Lord" in reaching the Jewish people scattered throughout the nations with the Good News of Yeshua.

Mission
The mission of the MJBI is to prepare a generation to reach the lost sheep of the house of Israel through equipping, congregational planting, and ministries of compassion.

The MJBI has intensive two-year Bible schools in Odessa, Ukraine, Belo Horizante, Brazil, and Buenos Aires, Argentina.  Students are equipped for full time service in Messianic congregations and worldwide Jewish outreach.                           

Additionally, there are a number of correspondence and video schools in the former Soviet Union, Central Europe, and South America.  Plans are being made to begin a graduate seminary in Korea to prepare laborers for the Jewish harvest fields around the world.  Respected Messianic Jewish leaders are presently being filmed in anticipation of producing a high-quality DVD video school in multiple languages.
