A Safe Place to Grow

Victory Christian Center endeavors to be "A Safe Place to Grow"

Who We Are
Victory Christian Center is a community church. Designed to meet the needs of a diverse culture. Established in 1999 as a Spirit filled full gospel church reaching across ethnic boundaries to create the environment of unity in the body of Christ. We are covenant partners with various local churches. It is our faith in God and the unity of believers that has established us as a thriving community church.

What We Believe

We believe the Bible is infallible written Word of God and in doing so, it has become the authority by which all we do is judged. (2 Timothy 3:16-17) All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (NIV)

We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19; 1 Timothy 2:5)

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His bodily future return to this earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years.

We believe the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ and to be saved.

We believe the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the body, soul, and spirit in answer to believing prayer.

We believe the baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it. Every believer can be empowered by the Holy Spirit to exercise the gifts of the spirit for the purpose of edification to the Body of Christ.

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
