Olen Griffing

Olen Griffing was a former Texas State Trooper, saved at the age of 32.  He graduated from Southwestern Theological Seminary in March of 1974, and in that same year, he began pastoring a little Baptist Church.

Shortly after that, the church was "on fire," and it wasn't revival fire! It literally burned to the ground, and from those smoldering ashes and some 39 remaining members, God began to rebuild something very special.

Now Shady Grove Church in Grand Prairie Taxes has reached thousands with the message of Christ. Shady Grove has a heart for people. They truly "Worship God and Love People!"

If you hang around Olen Griffing for anytime at all, you will quickly know the two things he values most which are the presence of God and people. Olen travels the nation ministering to church leaders through an origination he founded called Antioch Oases International. Olen is a seasoned "pastor to pastors" giving oversight to around 80 churches and ministries around the world.

Olen and his wife Syble reside in Grand Prairie, Texas.
