Saved   I was saved when I was 8 years old at a "brush arbor meeting" outside of Robinson, IL. My dad was a new evangelist, just starting out and he was leading the meetings for that particular week. We moved around to the small towns in the area, spreading the Good News and having revival!

Joined Victory   February 2002

Favorite book   Intercessory Prayer by Dutch Sheets (I also love Max Lucado books)

Favorite food or snack food   Potato chips and sharp cheddar cheese

Where would you like to visit someday?   I like it where I am, no desire to travel anymore.

What do you do in your free time?   Pray, pray, pray and read, read, read!!!

What scripture has impacted you the most and why?   Phillipians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!" I especially like this scripture because it reminds me that, no matter what, if it is what God has for me to do, then through Him it is possible! No matter how big it may seem to me, I know that He will provide whatever it is that I need at that moment to accomplish the task at hand.

Most influential person/people in your life   My mother was very influential to me because she always lived what she believed. When I came home from school I would find her on her knees praying. The most influential person in my life over the past few years has been Pastor Ed. He has helped me to learn what my calling is and is always very encouraging and uplifting. He too lives what he believes and is a wonderful man of God.

More about Barb Mosley
It was in her early twenties that Barb's gift of intercession began, but she would not learn what her calling was until much later in life. She prayed on behalf of those that she knew and for people that she didn't know as well. Barb prayed for circumstances for the people and places around her, as well as those in places she'd never been and for people she'd never met. She didn't know that this was a gift that the Lord had given her; that there was a purpose for her prayers.

Barb joined Victory in February of 2002. Shortly after, in a prayer meeting a word was spoken over her that she was an intercessor. It fit her like a glove and Barb clung to that word, and praised the Lord for it. Since then, Barb continues to do what she has always done....PRAY, but now she knows that it is not only what she loves to do, but what she is called to do. Barb is in love with the Lord and strives to be the prayer warrior that HE has called her to be.
